Sara Fredricks Named New Bench Boss at Forest Hills

Forest Hills, Mich. - Forest Hills Water Polo announced longtime Assistant Coach Sara Fredricks has taken over as the new head coach of the program in a full-time capacity.

"I am extremely excited to take over as the head coach at Forest Hills," Fredricks said. "I feel very lucky and honored to be able to lead this group of girls that share my love for this sport. I've coached them all at the JV level so it's exciting to have the opportunity to continue coaching them now at the varsity level. I'm looking forward to helping build this team up and seeing what they can accomplish this season and going forward."

Her five year coaching career has all come as the Forest Hills Assistant Coach, where she served for Lauren Weiss and Dennis Neat in that time.

A 2017 Rockford High School alum, Fredricks was a four-year varsity player for Katie Clarin with the Rams. Fredricks helped the Rams to a 2017 state runner-up finish.

Fredricks was an All-Conference, First-Team All-Region and First Team All-State Regular Season and Tournament Selection during her time at Rockford. She will graduate from Grand Valley State this month.
