Ever since my first day playing water polo in 7th grade, I knew I had found a sport I loved and wanted to stay involved in for life. I still remember coming home from practice, and when my mom asked how it went, I told her, “I love this sport. I’m going to do it for the rest of my life.” That passion has stayed with me, and I want to share that same feeling with as many students in Michigan as I can. Since joining the board in 2012, I have served as treasurer, vice president, and director of officials. I’ve also been an official since the spring of 2005, refereeing consistently ever since. In addition, I’ve had the privilege of coaching at several schools across West Michigan, which gives me a unique perspective as both a coach and an official. I look forward to continuing to serve the MWPA in any way I can.
