Off Season Polo Opportunities Multiplying in Michigan

The Michigan Water Polo Association (MWPA) has always been associated, to a degree, strictly with High School Polo itself.

That said, the MWPA is a strong advocate for athletes that want to play polo during other parts of the year. Whether athletes want to go to Junior Olympics, practice with a club team that may go to a tournament or two, or just get some late night or early morning outdoor polo in, we've gathered a number of a varying range of opportunities.

Many options include Splashball, an introductory water polo-like session encompassing kids as young as five and as old as sixth grade, which helps teach water skills and introduces the sport of water polo at the same time.

Grand Rapids, Lakeshore (Lake Michigan), Birmingham/Troy and Ann Arbor areas are ALL offering some form of water polo this summer.
