The Michigan Water Polo Association (MWPA) has signed a five-year deal with KAP7 whose product will serve as the official water polo ball for the MWPA.
"KAP7 has been an excellent partner for the MWPA, and this renewed partnership will continue to benefit the growth of water polo in the state of Michigan," the MWPA Board said. "We are thrilled to continue to work with KAP7, their outstanding product, and their excellent team."
The deal also opened the MWPA-KAP7 Portal for equipment purchase via the MWPA's new website via the KAP7 Store Page. All MWPA member schools, coaches, staff and officials have access to use this option for official equipment purchase.
"KAP7 is excited to continue our relationship with Michigan Water Polo," KAP7 President Bradley Schumacher said. "KAP7 continues to be the largest supporter of water polo across the globe. Our partnership with Michigan Water Polo is structured to provide a benefit to all parties involved within the sport, including coaches, athletes and partents. As more Michigan Water Polo enthusiasts shop with KAP7, the MWPA will directly benefit. This is the first time we have structured a partnership in this manner and we are excited to see the results."
With the deal signing, the MWPA's KAP7 portal is now open. A portion of each sale through the portal will directly benefit the MWPA.
