Thorsby Named Leader of Grand Haven Girls Squad

Grand Haven, Mich. - The Grand Haven Buccaneers have formally announced the hiring of head coach Andrew Thornsby to guide the girls squad.

"I'm incredibly excited to coach the girls team here at Grand Haven," Thorsby said. "Coaching water polo has been a goal of mine for quite a while so I'm eager to get started."

The Western Michigan University grad played for six years between the middle school and high school programs at West Ottawa High School.

Thorsby joins a Grand Haven group that enters the 2022 Spring season following one of the best results in recent memory when they upset Jenison in the District Quarterfinals on the road to advance to the West Regional Tournament.
