Kevin Berkowitz
 

 Kevin Berkowitz joined the MWPA Executive Board in the spring of 2026. Water Polo first became a part of his life during his freshman year at Groves High School in the fall
of 2010. He was the goalie all four years and became a captain of the team his senior year.

After a stint in culinary sciences, Kevin realized his passion was in athletics. In the summer of 2022, he pursued his Master’s in Sports Administration. While completing
the degree, he began coaching Girls Water Polo at Seaholm High School. After the season was over, he continued coaching Boys Water Polo at Seaholm, as well. During
his second year as coach, both teams finished sixth in the state.

In addition to coaching water polo for Seaholm, he coached Birmingham Wolverine Water Polo from 2023 to 2025 as the goalie coach. His time as a coach extended
further into Boy Swimming at Seaholm High School, where he has served as Assistant Coach since 2022.

Kevin has served as the Assistant Athletic Director at Seaholm High School, where he has worked since the fall of 2022. He is set to receive his MBA with a concentration in
Sport and Entertainment Management in spring 2026.
While serving as President of MWPA, he hopes to grow the number of teams and thenumber of students joining each team. He has a passion for water polo and wants to
spread his excitement throughout the state of Michigan.
