Saline, Mich. - The Saline Hornet's Girls Water Polo Team has announced they have brought aboard Saline Alum Alli Littlejohn to guide the Hornets this coming season.
"I'm thrilled to be joining Saline as the girls' head coach," Littlejohn said. "This program was such an important part of my development as a player and opened a lot of doors for me after leaving high school, so I'm excited to have the opportunity to work with the team and continue building the program."
Littlejohn played on Scholarship at George Washington University from 2010-2014. She was a four-time All-Academic Performer in college at GW.
At Saline, she was a USAWP Academic All-American as a junior and senior, and an All-American as a senior for the Hornets in 2010. She suited up for the Hornets during arguably their most successful period in program history, helping the Hornets to a pair of State Runner Up finishes in 2009 and 2010.
She was also a multiple All-State, Region and District performer for the Hornets at the prep level.
Littlejohn also played with the former Great Lakes Water Polo Club and the Midwest Olympic Team.
