Jonny Smith joined the MWPA board for the first time in July 2023.

 

He started officiating back in 2015 and joined the MWPA in 2019 having originated from Ohio. He has officiated multiple state championship games for the MWPA and been a game assignor for the east region since 2022.

 

A 2014 graduate of Napoleon High School in Ohio where he found water polo and has been involved ever since. He also officiates for USAWP and Ohio Water Polo as well.

 

In his free time he enjoys going to concerts and spending time with his two dogs Eddie and Jango.
